So I was doing laundry the other day and I did a load of Haley's so I emptied her hamper. Haley was "helping my out and after I emptied the hamper she started whining, and I could not figure out what was wrong. Turns out she just wanted in!

Tutu!!!!!

One of my really good friends Alison...super fun and creative...had a brilliant idea to make a tutu for her daughter as part of her Halloween costume and it came out super cute! So I picked her brain and asked her the same questions about 100 times (hey I am forgetful at times) on how to make it. Turns out to be one of the easiest things I ever attempted. The first one I made (and the only so far) turned out to be too big for Haley, so I am decorating her room with it around her diaper genie for now. Scrumptious

Ruben loves to BBQ, and he has a grilling cookbook that has recipes for grilling just about anything. About a month ago he tried a new recipe on "the pit"...apple cake. It was really good, so last week he decided to make it again, but we were cooking indoors so he made it in the stove...still really good. As many of you know I do NOT cook (I burned Cream of Wheat this morning), but I do LOVE to make homemade whip cream. So I made some to top off the cake, and Haley reaped the rewards!!!

Ok so Halloween is upon us and those of you who know Ruben and I well know we like to go all out. We always have the best time Halloween night with the trick or treaters who dare to enter our garage. About two weeks ago we started pulling out our decorations and have put up a few of them. Among some of things we got down from the attic is this old, UGLY, mean looking rate (I swiped from World Savings back in the day). Hoping Haley would not be scared of our Halloween decorations I played the rat off like one of her baby dolls...and low and behold she LOVES it?!?! Her favorite thing to do is push it around in her little baby doll stroller and give it hugs.

So one of Nathan's games was in Waller about a month ago. So we all got into our cars and drove down there to see all of the action. When we get there it was HOT, and those little love bugs were EVERYWHERE....

Haley's Baptism

Haley was baptized on September 7th, here are a few of the pictures. Monica (Haley's Godmother) had just bought a really big camera and tried it out...(but I lost the CD she made me)...so there will be more tomorrow once I get the "replacement"!
